Embed Issuu Into a Wordpress Post or Page

Want to embed an Issuu publication into your wordpress blog but can’t seem to get the embed code working? Issuu offers many options for embedding your publication online but they don’t offer a wordpress code snipet or widget… as of yet.I got the above publication embedded into this post by using the Kimili flash embed plugin for wordpress and only grabbing part of the HTML code that you can get from Issuu’s embed page.

The only part you need to grab is in bold… and then when you’re in wordpress click on the embed kimili button (circle button with the F in it) It asks you for a direct link to the flash file. Thats where you past the code in bold above. Then it asks for dimensions of the file. Simply put in the width first and then the height. So in this instance I put in 425 and then 288.

425×288 I believe is the largest you can select to embed your issuu publication elsewhere.

I hope this helps you out. I’m sure someone (maybe issuu themselves) will develop a wordpress widget or plugin to make this easier.
