I've been swamped with work and more ideas so I've really given up on AuctionAds.

My test of using ppc to drive traffic to my auction didn't work out as I would of liked. I paid for about $30 of traffic to drive around 200 more people to my auction and after all was said and done, the site didn't sell.

I'd have to try it again hopefully with some better response but I don't think I will.

The idea would definetely work if you put the time into setting up a ppc campaign and driving traffic to eBay using the AuctionAds URL converter.

You just plug in the url of any eBay auction and outcomes a link embeded with your AuctionAds affiliate url.

I see they redesigned their site and to me they did a poor job. It's not clear even on the homepage how it would benefit you besides vague language like "increase ctr and generate more money"... How much money? It doesn't even say in the FAQ section. To me that is hurting their business.

I can say that I've made money with AuctionAds though... approximately $2 in the past month.

Is that worth the space it's taking up on one of my sites,, definitely not.

If you do any testing and find out some good info feel free to share it.

That is an interesting idea you had. I also tested out AuctionAds early on, and found them to be too damn ugly to keep on my blog. I felt like they dragged the quality down way too much, and I am not a design freak.

Can you just use their links for direct PPC to get the full 5% commission skipping over the lower tiers? That is an awesome idea.

I just signed up for AuctionAds and put the code on my site. So far nothing has shown up. Does anyone else have that problem sometimes with AuctionAds?

I just wanted to check if it's a common problem or something is wrong with my setup.

I agree with you they need to fix the photos - making them look better should increase the CTR a bit.
